There is a difference between fighting the guy you want him to fight and him fighting the #1 guy at the weight. Just because you wanted him to fight Williams at one point doesn't make him #1

The thing is, flo mos are so happy to point out that Floyd is #1 at 154. But when you suggest Trout or Martinez at 154, it's "he's too small for that", see thread below. A #1 guy should not be too small for the best challengers, unless he's a paper #1.

I welcome a Trout or Martinez bout. I'd rather the Martinez bout be at 160 though with Sexy coming off of surgery and what not.

This is some real dumb **** you talking. The same two fighters , Cotto and Mosley had just beat the **** out of Margarito. Margarito wasn't no threat to Floyd. Especially, since they unloaded his wraps.

It's actually 15 months and one week. Mosley - Margarito happened on January 24th 2009, while Mosley - Mayweather happened on May 1st 2010. You silly flaming ***gots and *******s, always fiddling the numbers. :nono

The fight happened 6-7 months after Floyd beat JMM. Floyd fought JMM and then accepted Mosley fight after Shane went into the ring with him post-fight.

pac****s always conveniently mention how Floyd didn't fight Shane until he was 38, but they never mention how Floyd called out Shane/ODLH when he was fighting @ 135 pounds. Floyd called them out in their primes and they chose not to fight him. That's how it actually happened.

Yes he called Shane out when he was at 135 and he wasn't a name. After Floyd beat Oscar, Shane called him out year after year and Floyd avoided him like the plague. He finally fought him years later when he was an old man, a year 1/2 after he beat Margo and Floyd had no where else to go for a payday (except Pacquiao who he wanted nothing to do with).

Mosley avoided a younger Floyd fight in 2005-2006.
