Botha should've been slapped with Injunction (Gag Order) stopping him from making false statements/allegations to media – bringing Australian boxing industry into disrepute. He's only done so, to orchestrate rematch in South Africa. He can get farked as far as I'm concerned.....and should be banned from fighting here again.
For me it's a bit of what came first, the chicken or the egg If there wasn't all this 10 round, 12 round stuff going on there would have been a clear winner eitherway IMO. The fact there was the 10/12 round stuff has given a platform to Botha to run his mouth, whether it's true or not.
Whether 10 or 12 is unimprtant. He was mouthing off he was gonna make an early night of it.....well he didn't. Initial insert in Boxrec's schedule was 10. Don't know why it was increased to 12. Maybe 'cos it was for so called prestigious WBA International title WBA International title has got as much credibility as Indian & Pacific Ocean title

Well this thread is ******ed atsch, the fact is the fight was scheduled for 12 rounds just before the 10th round the fight gets shortened to 10 rounds :-(, why? because SBW is on his way to getting knocked out, he was lucky to survive the 10th he likely would've been stopped in the 11th and definitely wouldn't of made it past the 12th while simultaneously losing the 9th 10th 11th and 12th rounds and maybe escaping with a draw if he was lucky or getting it on 1 point. Yeah man Australian boxing put it self in the shitter and you can blame the people closely involved in it for that. :-(
Somebody needs to ask Tony Kettlewell when he was informed the bout was 10 rounds and who told him. 99.9% of the people watching thought it was to go 12 rounds. Anyone who believes Bothas corner knew before the bout started that it was 10 but forgot to tell Botha is an imbecile.
Whoever promotes SBW and the referee who are as i said closely involved with Australian boxing and if the Australian boxing board does nothing about it then they are responsible for letting this **** happen as well. And in regards to judging if the fight had of been 12 rounds as expected i think i gave Botha one or two of the rounds before the 9th and with the reduction that 9th round would've been a draw with the 10th been to Botha clearly and who knows what would of happened after that. Corruption at it's worst. :-(
