we can only hope that if Adamek gets the fight, he turns his ankle in the 5th, while down 5rds to 0 without being seriously injured.

Wlad walks away with the KO he would certainly get, Adamek walks away with a minor injury and a career payday.

We get to see one of the best of this generation walk away without a humiliating onesided ugly beatdown KO.:-(

If Vitali can send Adamek into the ropes with a rangefinding jab and then have to carry him the rest of the fight, imagine what Wlad would do to him......

    Terrible matchup.

I don't like this from Adamek at all. Unless this is a fight with Wlad or Povetkin (as opposed to Pulev), I'm withdrawing all respect I've ever held for Tomasz. I understand he's ageing and declining but that is no reason to cash out against Szpilka, who is a nobody at this point. Of course, we don't yet know who this mysterious "big money" opponent will be yet. Everything hinges on this.

What would be the point in eliminators then? He's surely referring to Szpilka.

    Potvetkin?????:think:think:think:think

If Im team Adamek, Im drooling about this potential fight. It's less of a payday, but far more winnable, and the title, while little more than the IBF North American title he won vs Chambers, is still considered a world title.

A win over Potvetkin would make him a 3 division champion, and give him a mandate with Wladimir.

From Potvetkins perspective, it would be a HUUUUUGE win for him, a big payday, maybe career high, and give him big fight experience and confidence he'll need going into his July showdown with Wladimir.:think

    Money fight in Poland?

Either Szpilka or Golota - not the winner of Golota-Saleta as Saleta said the Golota fight will definitely be his last one plus his fight with Adamek would hardly sell here, even if he's to win with Andrew.

Golota on the other hand is rumoured to fancy a rematch with Tomasz. He said he's already in better shape than he was for the Adamek fight (he is IMO). He had a surgery that's supposed to bring his old jab back and wants to check if he can still do anything in boxing vs Saleta. After that, he doesn't rule out the possibility of some more fights if it turns out he can. I think you can tell that the Adamek loss hurts him to this day - he takes it as a pride thing (he hardly even trained for that fight thinking there's no chance in hell this 'cheeky midget' can do anything to him, then he got humiliated). I'm quite sure he dreams about going out on a win vs a legit contender in a blaze of some of the old glory.

As for the Szpilka possibility - I don't mind seeing this thug schooled.

As far as a Szpilka fight:think:think:think.......................

It's not exactly cashing out.:nono Sure it's a payday, but not mega, even in Poland. And he'd likely win by KO, hurting his fellow countrymens chances of continuing his rise to contention.

But beating Szpilka atm, wouldnt send Adamek into retirement.

There's still big potential winnable fights for him.....ie......Arreola 2 for the WBC title, Potvetkin for the WBA minor, and even a 3 vs Cunningham.

Plenty left in the tank if you ask me:deal:deal:deal

Adamek's polish glass meant Vitali Staggered him with a jab. Wlad might KO him with a Jab

    I hope not.

Adamek has not done anything to deserve such a fight, and besides... big bro already nearly killed him with a jab.

cant be golota, makes no sense at all (after adamek fought him a few years ago). povetkin, wlad, or szpilka.

im gonna say povetkin, as surely even adamek knows a fight against wlad is a total mismatch, and the szpilka fight couldnt happen unless he gets past zimonoch.
