Maybe, but there would be a lot more in Britain watching if Utd (in particular) were involved. Plus you would be more likely to switch over at 8 or 9ish if there were no British team involved.

It wouldnt bother me, i'm a football fan, but if i was paying £15 i would expected a decent bill starting from 8 and i would be watching from 8 regardless of who was playing, but more people would switch over if there wasnt British interest invlved.

I would far rather watch a Barker-Lee fight at 9pm than 2 foreign teams in the final as would a lot of other boxing fans

You make this post on a routine basis.

You clearly feel strongly about it, why do you feel the need to bore the arse off everybody though?

Because he's a desperately sad individual and thinks pissing everyone off is the same as being important.

I feel sorry for the people who pay top whack and then have to pay again for a fight. This fight should be free for those on that package. Simple as.

I'll pay for it, but it is ****ing annoying. Outside my mortgage & council tax, Sky TV is my biggest bill.

If you have the SS package they shouldn't be charging for this

The Champions League final does pose some interesting scenarios. If an English or 2 English clubs were to make the final, PPV will start at around 22:15 (assuming no penalties). If Froch was on at midnight, we would only get one undercard fight live. Barker vs Lee isn't going to get me to pay £15, also, I'd question how many football/boxing fans would be out watching the match.

No English clubs in the final: Card might be slightly better, but still going to be limited and late.

In all fairness, Hearn should put a full card on from 7pm, maximise advertising and it should be high quality. People are paying ticket prices and PPV regardless of the undercard. Let the boxing fans dictate, not the football fans. As long as Froch is on at a time to suit all, people can view the rest as they wish.

New age promoting doesn't have to mean copying a K2 promotion, namely an Afolabi vs Dunstan quality, single fight. Less than 3 minutes to fill a few hours.

Neither team is going through to the next round in my opinion. Real Madrid will beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in a technical mind game of counter-attacking chess, Arsenal are about to get demolished by Bayern Munich, home and away. Celtic are out, Juve will smash them again in Italy.

Craney is unemployed and lives with his parents, what an enormous shock that he doesn't subscribe to Sky Sports, I'm dumbstruck personally. Obviously it is nothing to do with the fact his mum won't let the Sky installers drill their window sill's or the fact that he hasn't got any money, it's him taking a stand the Murdoch empire and their crippling regime, a matter of principle rather than necessity!

£15 probably between 5 of my good mates, £3 each - get in a few beers and a takeaway. Probably spend about £15 for a quality night in with the lads.

I'd spend quadruple that on a **** night out with people I dislike.

    It’s a one fight card…

Adding a good undercard won’t attract more subscribers. The cost will far outweigh the reward.

Extra exposure for those fighters. Would you be happy with this?

Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler (IBF & WBA Super Middleweight)
Darren Barker vs Andy Lee (IBF International Middleweight)
Erik Ochieng vs Sam Webbe (Vacant British Light Middleweight)
Kenny Anderson vs Daniel Cadman (British Super Middleweight)
John Ryder vs Ryan Aston (English Middleweight)

Just look at BoxNation's coverage for March. Some top fighters, whole undercards and just £10.

I hope BoxNation try to rival the Froch fight on the night.

Sky would reject all but one of those cards. There targeting different audiences.
