It is a decent month for Boxnation, rabbit hole doesnt really have a fighter that could rival Froch.

That'd be decent but I'd expect at one or two more Sauerland fighters on there. Apparently Deion Jumah will be on and also Kenny Anderson has vacated the British title according to Steve Lillis. Paul Smith vs Tony Dodson has gone out for purse bids.

**** reality, why were undercards back when collins benn etc were on were they so much better

viewing figures are similar, attendance the same so why do we get these wank undercards all the time on UK PPV

the promoters are making a killing off the demise of boxing and you lot agree with it

Because the previous managment at Sky allowed it happen. Theres a new regime now that doesn't allow as muh bull****, whih is why the poor promoters Maloney & Hattons gots dropped.

But a single fight is apparently PPV worthy?

I'm going to watch it one way or another but I think I'm going to pay for it rather than the illegal way round it for one reason, I think Froch deserves the extra pay day it brings. He's given a lot to the sport for relatively small reward compared to say Khan or Haye. So I don't mind laying 15 quid down to watch it. I don't know how naive of me that is, he'll probably see less than a quid of my money, but I do think he deserves it.

That and I just laid out a fair wad of cash for a dirty great 51 inch hdtv. So watching it on my 19" monitor would be a proper waste of money.

No, not a chance, If Sky kept up the same schedule as a few years ago i would consider it, but they seem more eager to push Ringside and to fly Ed Robinson and Johny Nelson all over the world, i want more fights, not a 15 minute feature in the Philipinnes or Las Vagas.

I also said some time ago about the demographics. Sky are all over it. They know they can lure the casuals in by selling one fight like some sort of comic book mega fight between two warriors, the zombie casuals will be foaming at the mouth "Take my money Murdoch Take my MONEYYYYYYY!!!!"

Boxnation are also aiming the product at a slightly different demographic. They seem to play a lot on the football crowd and people who "know their boxing".

All I know is, there are a lot of people in this thread talking a lot of sense. But what I'd say, is stick to your guns, dont complain and still pay. Better still, if you really want to watch this fight, and so do some of your family and friends, kill 2 birds with one stone, all chip in and make a good night out of it around someones house.

But apparently this fight, on its own, justifies the return of PPV. I don't remember the pro side of this debate saying "as long as it's paired with a good undercard".
