To mant promoters wont let there fighters on other shows. There should be a rule that if you make a purse bid, you have to accept the winning bid and cant fight another fight.

Kenny Anderson used to be gangster in Glasgow and was once charged with attempted murder. Anyone who thinks that he vacated because he's scared to fight a clown like Smith is as deluded as Smigga himself. Anderson's probably had harder shits.

there must be something big on the horizon for him because he arsed about his career for ages chasing Groves to get a shot at the title before beating Robin Reid then vacates without a defence

    Maybe he is fighting Degale

Paul Smith will probably beat Dodson and win the British title outright, he could potentially be one of the worst boxers to do it. Fair play to him if he does though.

Belt should remain vacant and they should have several eliminators for the belt.

I have no idea. Maybe he didn't fancy fighting on a VVarren card, I really don;t know.

Jeff will throw some light on it I suppose.

Definitely. Just because Smith is the best out there doesn't mean he should be gifted it.

Be interesting to see what sort of crowd Smith vs Dodson gets. Didnt it do 7000 at the Echo last time?

Let Dodson, Paul Smith, Tony Hill and Fielding fight it out and the winners fight each other.

It's for personal not boxing reasons guys.
Fair play to Kenny he could have kept hold, messed people around, pulled out with injuries etc but wants other boxers to get on with their careers and he will win it back when he is ready ;)

Who says Smith is the best out there? He got battered by DeGale and Groves when they were at British level and has fought no one since. Rocky Fielding deserves a chance over him.

Dodson is shot, Fielding would be a better opponent I would actually fancy him to do smith but Eddies moving him very slowly.

Most people say he is the next best after Anderson, Degale and Groves. I agree Fielding certainly deserves a chance ahead of Dodson right now, as English titlist. Certainly begs the question: Why didn't Saint Eddie make the Anderson-Fielding fight?
