would Lennox be troubled by any HW from the post LL-era?

I know I might get hackled for this but I actually think the Peter that showed up to fight Wlad the first time would give LL a good scrap. People **** on him but the truth is Peter that night was primed out, in shape, strong, sturdy, powerful and ready to fight all 12 rounds.

    Wlad and Vitali, obviously.

Those are the only guys I can think of that I think would make things uncomfortable for him, then theres guys like Haye, Brewster and Sanders, who def have that odd chance of landing that fight changing punch but for the most part I see Lewis doing what he needs to, to deal with them without too much hassle. After them I just dont see who else would pose much of a problem for him.... : Povetkin, Valuev, Chisora, Adamek, Chambers, Byrd, Arreola, Chagaev, I think they all get dealt with.

Of course Lewis would have some fits... all fighters will.

Lewis would likely come out on top though most of the time.

Honestly talking, the level has raised since the LL's times; apart the fact that the likes of Sultan Ibragimov (southpaw), Corrie Sanders (southpaw) and Chrys Byrd were all out at his times, and it can be said that he avoided them, lately there have been some fighters whose physical capacities Lennox has never fought in his entire career: Samuel Peter, David Haye and Nikolai Valuev are the first that comes to mind, but a lot of other contenders would have had more than a chance to trouble LL: Ruslan Chagaev (southpaw and hard chinned), Tony Thompson southpaw, big, with more than decent power and an high ko percentage, Eddie Chambers with his blinding fastness, Lamont Brewster, hard hitting and good chinned, Ross Puritty, hard rock chinned and hard hitter, Odlanier Solis, tkoed Haye in the past, and various others, would have all of them been fighters with characteristics that cannot be found in the LL resume.
Not that he couldn't have beaten the great major part of them, but there is a really high probability he would have been stopped by some of them.
And i don't think any version of LL would have had serious possibilities to go the distance against David Haye, David would ko even the actual version of Vitali, few doubts about it.

Obviously Wlad and Vitali would trouble him, as you said.

Peter may be the only one to KO him. Helenius maybe.

of course upsets happen but no one who has come since lewis retired is fit to wear his jock strap.

wlad is the best of the bunch but he is really untested against elite fighters and i think lewis would KO him - wouldn't even make Lewis' top 5 wins.

Naw. Either a vitali rematch or a figth with Wlad would have been fun. But Lennox was the man and would have prevailed.

    No he wasn't.

Brewster had successful surgery for his eye and was in great shape for the rematch. In the interviews before and after the fight, Brewster said his eye was fine after the successful surgery. He gave Wlad full credit for dominating him and making him quit.

The Klitschko brothers aside, I would give no one any chance in hell to beat him or even seriously trouble him.
