I don't care who you have a preference for. I am asking you to defend your position with an actual REASONABLE argument. See Lunny's observation, "Broner's power won't carry up at 140." Reasonable position. Not enough to give Khan the win, but reasonable as it is something that is true of many Boxers and we have no way of telling if it won't apply to Broner. Talking about size? Broner is actually HUGE and barely makes weight. Broner is bigger than Maidana and Garcia. He also has the same reach as Prescott and only 1" behind Peterson. Boxing skill? Khan has been sucked into brawls in EVERY fight he has against top level opponents. I am not critiquing who you like. I am critiquing your analysis and its conclusions. Stop making this a fan thing. :deal
Should have provided better clarity, but when addressing "Broner fans" earlier, I meant the irrational, dick-riding ones that can't fathom the thought of their guy losing a fight against someone in a higher weightclass that's more proven there. Understood?
Yeah, proven to give up his height, not have enough footwork to fend off pressure, drop his hands once punching, not be able to take a punch, etc...
Yet when Shaunster said the exact same thing in his very first ****ing post, it wasn't reasonable? Clown.
That's totally not what I just said . Learn to read, will ya'? I'm talking about those that are having a *****-fit to the idea of Broner losing to Khan, as if someone's just shat in their cornflakes. Those are the dick-riders. I have no qualms with those that personally think Broner would win.
You moron he didn't end it there either did he? If he left it there it is what it is. I am talking about all the other BS you and Shaunster said!
Doubly so if you say Khan is completely unable to stay outside and Box, maintain defensive awareness, or doesn't fight using his size to bully guys to his advantage. Triply so if you ask them to point you to a fight where Khan displays the type of strategy he will use to beat Broner.
Bronerds? Seriously, though, in a perfect world Khan SHOULD be able to beat Broner but, as we all know, it's not a perfect world. Does Khan have the patients to box on the outside, use his speed and not get drawn into a brawl on the inside, where he is likely to get tagged? As has been pointed out Khan has certain "flaws" that are mostly mental. I think he has the physical skills and style to beat Broner but does he have the requisite "ring IQ" to beat him? This is why, although I think Khan SHOULD be able to beat Broner, I'm not fully confident that he WOULD beat Broner.
