The fact that Broner probably doesn't even know what the word means esp. in that context is why it was funny. Cultural differences = humour.

Craney, I don't think anyone on here will know how genuine Eddie's persona is but who cares, it's inoffensive and can be entertaining. At the end of the day people are only enjoying stuff like that because he's doing his actual job quite well at the moment particularly compared to the other British boxing promoters with fighters at a similar level. If that stops all he'll get is a torrent of **** and no one will be laughing at the quips then. And rightly so.

 

As many if not more people on this forum hate eddie than like him.

 

I thought Hearn's jumper joke was actually hilarious. Shut Broner up from the get go. The message Hearn gave out was if you try and trash talk me ill knock you down a few pegs.

 

Broner is terrible at the trash talk.

He isnt smart or smooth enough for the verbals. Its embarassing for him.

I must watch that entire fight and score it myself. Ive heard he lost but never really watched it apart from the odd highlight.
