Easy to claim Shavers had a lot of 1 punch KOs, but he only has one on film.

There's always a weirdo arguing that 1+1 is not equal to 2.
Left-hook is just one type of punch lol What about as an overall puncher...it's clearly Shavers.
He just didn't have boxing skills to compete any where NEAR to the likes of Holmes and Ali.

Foreman is P4P regarded as one of the biggest punches ever, in the top 10, and all of his opponents say Shavers is a bigger puncher than Foreman.

Show me 2 cases of Shavers one shotting a fighter that is knocked out cold.
    Just two.

Heavyweights don't come close to the p4p power a guy like Julian Jackson had.

This is what Lewis has to say about who hit him the hardest:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em0nmlzbv0c
    1:10

    "Who hit me the hardest?
I didn't think about that, when you're in the ring you're just so focused."

In a professional fight when you're focused, you can't stand still and think.
"Wow that guy hit me the hardest"

And most probably when a guy hits you so hard you're KO'd for 10 minutes you don't remember the shot that put you out. (A shot like Jackson-Graham)

Also Shavers knew perfectly how to set up shots, working to the body a bit to lower their guards and strike.

"There's always a weirdo arguing that 1+1 is not equal to 2."
There isn't even a 1+1, there's only a 1, the other 1 should be the record to proof he was p4p the hardest, which there isn't.

Even if they were right, those were 30 years old quotes.
After those 30 years new boxers came:

    Ray Mercer interview.

You were always known for having a rock solid chin. Who hit you the hardest in your professional career?

:Ray Mercer: Tommy Morrison. Morrison hit me so hard to the body with those hooks that I was actually farting in the ring. (Laughs) You have to act like…you can’t let the guy see that you’re hurt, but I’m pretty sure he heard and smelled a couple of things. (Laughs) But he hit me harder than I was ever hit in boxing.

Also Oliver Mccall who sparred with Tyson and has fought with Lewis said that Buster Douglas hit the hardest.

According to Steward (who always talked positive about Wlad) said Wlad has the most power punch per punch.

You either stop taking those quotes serious (including the Shavers quotes), or you stop having a reactionary view and look at new quotes or you start looking at actual evidence of the fighter his KO performances.
And Shavers doesn't have a good resume nor he has more than 2 one punch KOs

Julian Jackson p4p > any hw ever

Buster Drayton (very durable and underrated fighter who'd just gone the full 15 in a war with another huge hitter in Matt Hilton) was the opponent. To this day the most badass KO I've ever seen. Jackson is the answer. No one I've watched put people to sleep the way he did. They'd either go stiff or limp, but they were out cold.
