Tyson fury claiming Price V Thompson is off

Richard Towers confirmed on his twitter account that he had been offered the Price fight but they only "offered him peanuts and he is not a ******"

 

Yeah just seen this, wow not looking good glad i didn't buy a ticket.

 

All these pull outs with "injuries" and re-scheduling is pretty damaging for the sport, we all know injuries sometimes occur and cuts etc. but I'd say at least half are for other reasons. As soon as you hear "back injury" you pretty much know what's up.

 

I ****ing hope to god this is not true, Maloney is a joke am sick of the little ****er. Ive got tickts.

 

I'm not backing the source from Tyson or if you'll get a refund from the hobbit!

Price's first actual opponent that *might* hit him back and not crumble in 60 seconds and it's collapsed already. Price at his age with Maloney and no proper TV deal (unless you include Loaded as TV which I don't really) is throwing his career away. He needs to jump ship and fast, it's all very well saying he gets the lions share of ticket money but that's a pretty short sighted and short term view for someone who considers themselves a future world champion.

Getting an extra £10k in ticket sales every fight is really a minor in the grand scheme of things, Fury will be a world title holder by the time Price even steps out of domestic class. Their careers are going in different directions at a different pace and that doesn't favour Price.

 

Interesting that both Price and Maloney havent tweeted anything since 2 days ago

Hope this isn't true... I was really hoping for Price to start making the step up to world class competition. Granted, Thompson is far from world class but he could hardly be a worse opponent than safety pin was to Fury and would have been a nice test for Price.

 

Imagine of Maloney really couldnt afford the flight so Hearn flys him over for PF after Maloney says he is injured.
