Is Vasily Jirov the most excitnf Eastern European fighter?

    I guess it depends on what you find exciting. Personaly I find fighters who go to the body, don't excessively hold and fight back harder after being hit with a good shot the most exciting. GGG may surpass him, but as of now I think Vasily Jirov is the most exciting Eastern European to have won a major title. I was lucky enought to be ringside for his fight with Toney and it was excitement from start to finish. Is Jirov thew most exciting EE in your opinion, or is there someone else more deserving of that title?

    Jirov was one of the most exciting fighters at one point in his career but he was never quite the same fighter after his bout with James Toney.

    I loved jirov. they screwed him against mesii. he had that in the bag

    I prefer Abraham & Huck but Jirov was fun to watch.

    Vasily Jirov is from Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is Asian country.

    lol 16 hour flight what? A small % of Kazakhstan is in Europe....

    Jirov was born and grew up during the Soviet Union, was an ethnic Russian and his nickname in the pros was "The Russian Tiger"

    He lost the first 8 rounds..... wasn't a hard fight to score.

    That's the second time a heard someone say it is a 16 hour flight.... What are they doing? Flying east and going all the way around the world?

    I love Jirov but he literally did nothing in the first 8+ rounds until scoring KD late in the 9th.
    Figured it had to be the same guy or he read the same post...
