Mcdermott was an eliminator for the british title, he fought Sexton for the British title & defended against Harrison & Skelton, by the way he isn't fighting on Loaded TV he fights on Boxnation.

I'm not sure there's a huge gulf in class between McDermott and Dallas to be honest.

I just can't abide by making any judgement on him whatsoever on the basis of his fights against an almost 50 year old rusty Skelton and Audley Harrison. As far as I am concerned all I know about David Price is that he has a big right hand, I have no clue on any other part of his game because he hasn't been in with anyone who I would consider a measuring stick.

The fight with Thompson is a step in the right direction and I think he has major potential and certainly wouldn't duck anyone but I can't say I hold the same belief in Maloney who just wants to milk the £££ out of him.

McDermott would KO Dallas in less than 3 rounds

Hope the fight is still on,sounds like it at the moment. For me,this is just the step up Price needs.Surely Towers would have been a step back from Skelton?Regarding him,hes beaten nobody yet IMO and surely Dominic Ingle wouldnt sanction this as he has shown some promise,is ambitious and wants to get as far as he can in the time available to him.Think a Price fight would probably put an abrupt end to his run.

I wonder how well tickets have sold for this compared with the Bellew card in a few weeks.

The March 30th card is apparently sold out now and this card will likely be sold out as well, or very close anyway. The difference is this one only has Price on the bill, the other has a stacked undercard full of Liverpool fighters.

Price is very much the top draw in Liverpool, Bellew is 2nd with probably Rocky Fielding 3rd.

Kev Satchell is defending his british and commonwealth titles on the Pricey undercard.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. My bad Kevin Satchell. Still, the March 30th show has a much stronger undercard.

Yeh defo, matchroom have got most of the young scouse talent, plus although kev has a decent following it's not as big as some of the others partly because of the lightest weights being overlooked.

i remember Hearn saying something about the amount of empty seats for Bellew vs Mcintosh so that why he stacked the card with local talent better that having them fight all round the country and bring up southern f=fighter to put on the the under

on another note i saw the BBBofc circular and it said Eddie Hearn had come to an agreement about Ajisafe vs Bellew surely he would be better just relinquishing it when he is chasing a world title shot

We don't 100% know if he was. I think Maloney probably just asked if he'd be available if Thompson couldn't make it or something. Someone got wind of it and put it online. People then started asking Towers about on twitter and he just said yeah he had been offered, probably to stop people pestering him.

Yeah, the guy who Maloney asked. Theres no reason why Towers would lie....I would take the word of a convicted kidnapper over Maloney any day of the week

Come on, that makes no sense whatsoever....To stop people pestering him he would have said "No"
