What do you guys think? He seems way too big in terms of height and size. Or is it just me?

Trout is naturally bigger, but height wise and reach they are almost the same. Cotto at his worst was able to hurt and get him dizzy. Floyd beats Trout no doubt about it. Trout is awkward and has a sneaky left, but his defense is no where near as good as Floyds and is overrated. Canelo would of destroyed Cotto that night.

Yeah I think Trout's too big for Floyd. Mayweather's really an average size WW.

Could you imagine Floyd against Kirkland or Angulo though?

Trout would be a safer fight for a 2013 Mayweather.
(Dont have the JMW punch to trouble Floyd)

He can make 154. Floyd just won a belt there. Why not?

i think he presents a bigger challenge then the majority of the 154 lbers(even Canelo) because of Trouts youth, mobility, and speed. that will frustrate the hell out of an aging fighter especially one that's used to being faster than mostly everyone he faces.

I don't think that was Cotto at his worst. I think that Cotto was no different to the one that turned up against Mayweather and Margarito II. Trout, because of his size and style, just made him look that bad and simply destroyed the myth that he belongs at 154.

But I agree, Trout is a bit too toothless -- in attack -- to give Floyd any serious problems. He'll be a nuisance, but that's about it.
