    GBP trying to stop canelos ambitions of being great, nope he put them in Check and demanded a big fight, Praise should be in abundance for Canelo. H is the only reason we are getting trout instead of Probably Cotto or Angulo that GBP probably wanted.

    Did he also withdraw his demand that he has to take on a smaller man in his next fight if he fights Trout?

    Props to Canelo. From a business stand point Trout is a terrible fight, so I can see why GBP didnt want it now with the Mayweather fight looming, but Canelo stepped up, deserves credit.

    canelo is going to roll trout. people are puting too much stock in his win over cotto when cotto cant beat a top three super welter or top 2 welter anymore. i didnt see anything in his fight with cotto that would make me think he could beat canelo.

    How often do 2 high level prime fighter undefeated face off in a big PPV card?

    Damn this is gonna be sweet props to Canelo for demanding a big fight and not settling for money fight with Cotto or safe move with Angulo that GBP was probably trying to convince, but Canelo is boss.

    This is what I suspected. I don't have much problem with Canelo, just his handlers. Trout is an awful fight for him business wise

    Kind of backed into a corner since Cotto was supposed to beat Trout and bring his title to the fight. Fighting anyone else would have been a duck really because Cotto had pretty much already been planned. Their own stupidity in talking about the Cotto fight. You simply can't do that and not take the winner without consequences.

    I respect Canelo for taking his first step up fight and I think it is going to be a 60/40 fight in his favor.
