jmm isn't really saying anything new and is pretty much a well accepted opinion.

JMM won a minimum of 3/4. One of those wins was one of the most brutal KO's ever in the sport of boxing. The other 2 wins (and 1 draw or extremely narrow SD) were boxing lessons.

JMM owns manny and is an ATG technician, undoubtedly.

If JMM could make what Floyd makes, he wouldn't have signed to fight Pac four times. We know this because after the first Pacquiao fight, he tried to play his hand and wound up getting robbed by Chris John in ****ing Indonesia for peanuts.

Since then, he's spent his entire career beating down Manny's door. It's the only way he can get paid.

JMM KO success against Pac is starting to get into his head. How sad.

The thread title is nothing short of inflammatory, Marquez didn't call him a cherrypicker and did not mention their own fight. Floyd takes risks, he's beaten plenty of quality fighters, but he didn't take the one that mattered most. Marquez did.

Yeah, sure sounds like sour grapes from a guy who was schooled by Floyd.

    The power. And ego.

I'd never suggest a professional boxer, especially one as accomplished as Floyd, can really be "scared" of another fighter. But the way he talks about him knocking down Mosley where Cotto couldn't suggests he thinks Manny's abilities simply can't be natural. And for years, I think he could never get over the fact that everyone seemed to be pushing him towards fighting Manny. "All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather." For a time, they lead to Pacquiao as well, and giving in to anything less than all his demands would have seemed to him as caving in to an inferior. That's my guess as to his train of thought.

you have to understand what floyd did when he decided to fight jmm at that point in time....it's like he choosed to beat up a woman.

floyd beating jmm at that point in time (when he was drinking urine as part of his training and without undetectable PED's from memo) is nothing to brag about.

...and on top of that, floyd did not even honor his catchweight agreement.

Why did pacquiao bend over backwards to avoid fighting Mayweather?
Was it the fact that Mayweather was bigger, the better boxer or was acatuly fighting solid oppoents unlike the cherry picks of Manny "No Risk" Pacquiao?
