I was half joking really, thought the Escabado fight might be on Sky replay.

They are talking to Devon Alexander on Sky now, he seems like a nice enough guy.

    Alexander pretty humble.

Says the injury was genuine, but who knows.

Though D-Hop retired after his pathetic last outing.

Whittaker got knocked out by a young Mikkel Kessler almost exactly thirteen years ago.

He was already a seven year veteran. :!:

10-9 Hopkins, nice right hand and few jabs from Hopkins.

    Round 1

Whittaker is putting in jabs and sliding left, out of range. Hopkins is doubling his jab and catching Whittaker on the far side of the jaw and high on the chest. 1-2 by Hopkins darting in. Whittaker keeps his distance and tries to dissuade Hopkins with an overhand right as he sneaks in for a quick hook. Whittaker parries a jab and then turns out a few of his own, missing or hitting the wrist of Hopkins.

    10-9 Hopkins

Good first round from Hopkins, boxing well at range behind the jab.

10-9 D-Hop. Say what you will about the guy, but he's quite good when he gets into a groove, and I just don't see CW being dynamic enough to get him out of a groove, at least early in the fight.

Charles Whittaker is showing less fire so far than he did against Gabe Rosado.
