For Soliman, a professional fighter for 16 years, there is an immense sense of frustration over the way Khoder Nasser has stained his sport.

"These circus fights get more publicity than me beating Felix Sturm in Germany," Soliman said, "And Felix was one of the biggest names in world boxing with something like 20 world title bouts.

"People who really know boxing know that these football fights are a farce but unfortunately a lot of people get sucked in."

Yet he fought Mundine (along with Khoders circus) 3 times? ****ing hipocrit

No,if you read the article it bags the footy players along with Nassers promotion.Soliman has tuned in and agreed
Mundine was a Nrl players if memory serves me correct and was managed by Nasser for all 3 fights against Soliman
Guess it was alright for Sam to cash in on the 3 fights right?:hey

Khoder managed Mundine in later years of his footy days & managed/promoted him from day 1 in boxing,
Mundine had a couple of amateur bouts in Fiji prior to his pro debut with Gerrard Zohs in 2000

Mundine went NRL to full time boxing and while he didn't fight too many great fight he still fought against some of the best,He wasn't really on the level to constantly fighter top fighters because he wasn't a top fighter/and a ducker at times but if a Aussie boxer stepped up and was worthy he fought him(Geale,Soliman,Woods) now if Leapai challenges SBW he would run to the hills. Why step up and refer yourself as a "boxer"(As he did when he came over from NZ) and pull that sh1t.

I will support him if he fights someone of note.... he should grow some and fight Brown.
Thats the best match up for him in this country at the moment
