After this thread, I am no longer convinced that Mr Tony is capable of beating Charlie Zelenoff.

Yes, his sparring video's were shocking and actually made Charlie look like Sugar Ray Leonard.

I'm not surprised you think that. You've devoted a lot of time and energy into CZ. Probably 70-80% of your posts are in that thread.

I think Zeleonoff's punching mechanics are far better, looping shots but at least the kinetic chain is close to working correctly. Mrtony80 punches from his arms, he pokes and prods downwards so I definitely give the power edge to Zelenoff. Tony obviously has more heart to take a beating though. It depends if Zelenoff lost his head, if he didn't then I'd favour him.

The guy landed on nothing but the arms and gloves of a 60 year old man, tried to call time out mid fight after catching a few shots, ran out of the ring, then jumped back in and swung on a guy who had his back turned, then cowered in the corner like a ***** while a guy wailed on him, then had the nerve to promote the video like he won. This is the guy I'm being compared to.

I really have become a pariah on here...:-(

Alright, this video here shows my footwork, which, I think is, at the very least, a minor strength of mine. What do you guys think?

stance is a bit too wide...especially for a guy who is trying to be a mover.

Dude your footwork really isn't that bad at all. Borderline good, actually. Actually, i should say movement. Your movement is good. There is more to it than moving, though. Pivoting, for example. So yeah. Your movement isn't that of a beginner. Work on your ****ing arms though! They look way too well developed to be throwing those week punches you throw.

No. He just hasn't bought boxing shoes yet, and coach doesn't let anybody in that ring with regular sneakers.

In all honesty I think your footwork is terrible. Your stance is too wide and you move to then punch with your arms. Your feet should always be a part of the punch. You use your feet to move around and then poke with your arms. That's not even footwork, that's stepping to get set instead of stepping to punch.
