In this case I agree with you, let him do what he wants outside of the ring to a certain extent. The only time I've bothered about people outside the ring is with scott harrison, that guy is scum and Id happily see him left out in the cold.

Broner looked impressive, Gavin Reese fought well and deserves a lot of respect and couldnt do any more Broners just a lot bigger and better.
I think Burns would have lasted a bit longer and at least is of a similiar size but the result would probably be the same.
Yes Broner got caught a few times but thats also partly because he thought he could afford to take chances against Reese.
As others have said i dont think Broner will be seriously tested until he goes up to light welterweight.

If he can't get the Burns-Vazquez winner right away he can fight the Abril-Bogere winner.

I iamgine Broner vs Burns-Vazquez winner will happen later this year.

Id like to see burns next but i'm not sure how do able that is? then move up and get a few half decent wins before facing khan.. I say khan because Id love to see a brit take that 0 and it'd be great for amirs confidence.

i think Burns has a better chance than Khan to be honest. I still think Broner would beat him although i've generally been expecting Burns too lose or struggle and fights and been happy to be proved wrong but Burns is a very compotent fighter on all levels while Khan cant take a shot, has poor footwork and cant fight on the inside or on the back foot.

I just watched the Sky interview with Rees-Broner. I take my words back, Broner is a good guy just playing to the cams.

yeah Burns has a much better chance than Khan, Burns is legit hes an all round good fighter, i think Burns vs Broner will be very cagey but i think Burns will eventually get caught and get taken out, wont be a beatdown like the Rees fight
Khan would just throw 85 combo's per round until he gets caught and gets stopped again
his power seems to be gettin worse hes not hurtin people these days, when he moves up to 147 if he keeps goin just for combos hes not gonna hurt people and they are gonna walk through him

How does beating Rees, a completely different fighter, tell us anything about Burns' chances against Broner?

Broner has such shite defence, kid can't shoulder roll, that Philly shell is pointless with him. Fair enough there's not much at 135 to trouble him but Burns is gonna give him trouble and once he moves to 140 he's getting ****ed about by Matthysse and Maidana. He's not half as good as he thinks, he beat up on Gavin Rees and he thinks he is it. He gets tagged at range easily, good power and chin on someone his size and he gets beaten. Matthysse will have a field day with him and I can't wait for it.

Burns by UD for me or maybe even stop him late if he wears him out. Ricky will control the pace from the off imo
