Bob Foster vs Joe Calzaghe At LHW

You really have to be a despicable dirtbag to post Foster knocking out a 40 year old middleweight. atsch

 

Foster is overrated. I'll pick the fighter who consistently performed well and has a better resume of wins (Calzaghe).

 

Calzage was king of the 168lb class and did not venture into 175lbs until after 36-37 years old, Foster was one of the greats at 175lbs and had sick power so it would be a tough man to overcome and 7lbs of muscle could make a difference but with that said Joe Calzage had a great chin, great movement, great hand speed, he may have to get off the floor to win but had the tools to do it and get the decision. Foster did not like a mover but Joe also had fast hands.....It would be a tough fight for Joe to overcome but with a perfect fight he could do it but Bob Foster had the Julian Jackson type of power at 175lbs so less than a perfect fight may be a disaster for anyone

But its ok to bring up Calzaghes victory over a 40 year old Roy Jones?

 

Wasn't it same day weigh ins when Foster fought? The weights were similar, in that case.

 

What I said is 100% true. Foster's resume is garbage and he lost some fights.
