I dont give 2 cents how he is in private if he just entertains in the ring and that is what he does so there is everything good for me.
:deal BEEN trying to tell people this. Who really cares what he does in private how stupid he sounds in interviews. Dude was dope in the ring isn't that ALL that matters. Afterall we are not supposed to be casual fans so his act doesn't even apply to us!
One thing is to have an opinion but when you flat out lie to make a point you lose all credibility. When broner said that line to the british commentator, ree's and ree's trainer and the commentator chuckled. atsch EVIDENCE. SCROLL TO 1.40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKc8fKeIsQI
Agreed. He is very gifted but a total try hard who seems desperate to be seen as witty and sharp. His trash talking is embarrassing and his pre planned clunky lines make me cringe. He did the same "I don't know his name" crap with Kellerman after the fight and then talking to the British TV team said "If the Burns fight doesn't happen then I'll move up, Burns is the only fight I want" or something along those lines. Clearly knows who he is and yet still tries that terribly unfunny line of getting the name wrong or saying he can't remember the name.:-(( The fight went as expected with Rees landing a bit more than I thought he would.
i tell anyone that i know who watches boxing that he easily gives the worst interviews that ive seen from anyone. he seriously makes himself look like a dumb-ass idiot when he speaks.
I'd love to see Broner and Victor Ortiz hold a conversation. The IQ of everyone in earshot would drop by about 20 points.
Its cringworthy stuff, when he was watching the replay of the knockdowns the constant "hmmmmmm" in self admiration made me atsch
I feel like he would be likeable if he dropped the act, but you can see right through it. He tries so hard, it's so obvious. It will be entertaining to see him face a real **** talker one day.
