I've thought the same thing with the berto comparison. He is very exciting, fast, and punches hard but I can see him getting exposed. You may say he actually has a defense unlike berto but until the Quintana fight no one was really calling out berto on his lack of ability to slip punches. I'm not saying he will get exposed but if it happened I wouldn't be surprised

Broner is definitey not all hype. He is a very talented young man with a very shitty attitude. I do not think he is or will ever be a Floyd Mayweather. He has been exposed by Ponce De Leon as a guy that can be hit and now also by Rees. Either way, he is still a talented young man and I believe he is the top lightweight at the moment.
IMO he does have power and speed. He is a talent and you cant argue that...... but, I have never wanted to see a guy get his ass kicked as much as I want to see broner get destroyed. His antics and total disrespect for his opponent he showed last night kills me. After the fight being interviews by Mox and he watches a replay of the KD's and says something to the effect of "mmmm nice uppercut and down goes Rees, Rease, what is his name?".... what a dick!!! I really dislike the guy and would never watch his fights if they went to PPV
Well, he's moving up to 140 within his next fight or two. Considering he's a GBP fighter, that means he'll be fighting the likes of Khan, Garcia, and Matthysse. Those are all good fights.
and whats great is that broner will agree to fight them all. and ill be betting broner until he loses, which i dont think he will. i cant figure out why this guy gets hate. hes defending his title against top 10 opponents.
He's a polarizing figure. It's hard for people to separate a guys personality and his talent. So if people are turned off by his antics, they are then going to try to diminish his talent and achievements.
He looks pretty good to me everyone keeps on about him stepping up to welterweight, he is in his second weight division in a year he will go up and probably win another world title.. 3 weight world champion without even trying ,is it a suprise people are hypeing him up.. atsch And by the way i think Broner is a ****.. :yep
Broner is the real deal. He has it all. Angles, defense, total punch arsenal, power and speed. I know you guys don't like him for how he acts, but the fact remains he is a top 10 p4p talent. He is not going to get beat anytime soon. He can improve on his defense slightly. But, he is gonna be around for a long time and he will be undefeated. You can try and bury your head in the sand about him, but the fact remains that he will keep on beating people, keep getting recognition, collect titles and soon he will be a top 3 p4p talent.
