    Just 140

    Matthysse
    Rios
    Allakhverdiev
    Ajose
    Alverado
    Prescott
    Shafikov
    Garcia

If he managed to get 4 wins against these 8 guys i would be suprised.

154 is too early to be talking about yet. Broner just recently moved up from 130.

140 will be the making (or breaking) of Broner, so many big fights for him there: Garcia, Khan, Judah, Matthyese, Maidana, Rios... All the top guys obviously pose a threat to him. Probably Matthyese most of all due to his pressure style, power and good chin, Garcia too with his power. But Broner would possibly start favourite against most of them in my book, unless maybe if he fought Matthyese or Garcia in his first fight at the weight. Broner - Khan could be a big publicity fight down the line if Khan is still around

It'll be interesting to see how Broner carries up his power with him. He can rely on it a little when fighting small guys like Rees but it might be a different story against fully-fledged 140-147lbers.

You have to have legs and run to have a chance to Rob Matthysse and broner doesent have that so he's ****ed imo

He wont be going to 154.....

legit threats from 135 to 147:

    Gamboa
    Matthysse
    Garcia
    Bradley

that's it and he beats them all.

we don't need to talk Mayweather/JMM/Pac cause that ain't happening they'll be long gone by the time he's in the sweepstakes for those fights.

How can you be so sure? Broner had a very close fight against Ponce De Leon!
Matthysse has a good chin and a lot of power but Broner is much faster then him but I think Matthysse i able to hurt Brone rthats for sure! If he gets hit like against Rees he could get some trouble from Matthysse.

he's not gonna fight Matthysse like he fought Rees, he had no respect fopr Reese and didn't care if he got hit, vs Matthysse/Rios/Garcia you'll see a far more defensive minded Broner. Early in the Demarco fight before he realized he could take Demarco's shots and walk him down his D was phenomenal. He showed great D as a youngster vs PDL as well. he's got very good defense when he needs to show it. Matthysse would be his toughest fight but I think he's too complete for Lucas, if Zab can outwork you to a UD (ok even if you gave that fight to Matthysse it was damn close) then I don't see a more comp[lete fighter with a higher workrate and better chin in Broner not being able to so more emphatically.

Yeah I agree but I think Matthysse could have a punchers chance (wich i consider quite high). Because again! Broner got hit several times (also against Ponce de Leon) when Matthysse can hit Broner like Rees and Ponce de Leon did I think that Broner could get some trouble! Also Matthysse has a good chin and a high guard what makes it hard to hurt him.

People put too much stock in the ponce bouts this is the fight game no matter how great you are you aren't going to win every bout by blow out look at de la hoya-whitaker mayweather-castillo pacquiao-marquez x3 williams-lara hell rios just got the benefit of a gift decision last year vs abril i wont touch on 154 at this point that seems a bit unrealistic but as far as 140-147 the only names I would give a good shot against broner right now would be matthysse and bradley everyone else pretty much has flaws that could easily be exploited by broner if he is what he's hyped to be.
Again rios robbed abril, zab judah is well zab judah notorious mental midget, kahn is zab 2.0 touch that chin an it's over, garcia i can't say he knocked out glass jawed kahn an beat a super shot moralas not enough evidence to say he for sure beats broner either.
As for 147 in most peoples opinion it's weak at the moment alexander though i like him his shown a lack of heart at times, maliniggi doubtful, ortiz because of his size could be interesting but he might be moving to 154 soon, guerrero's tough if he manages to make it a good fight may 4th I may have more confidence in him, after that it's gets thin lopez, brook, berto, none of them are world beaters so for me looking at there resumes combined with there respective skills I'd say out of the current crop of fighters bradley and matthysse really have the best shot.
Both fighters should be undefeated thought lucas edged the devon and zab fights and my bradley pac card goes anywhere from 8-4 pac to 7-5 bradley. In the end we'll find out if this kid is the real deal soon enough i only see about 2 worth while fights at 135 abril and the burns-vazquez winner landing him at 140 early next year.

    154?

Broner is right now only in the 135 - 140 range.

I think the biggest threat is Matthaysse at 140.
