I like Broner...

But I don't like him trying to emulate Mayweather.

Mayweather said the same **** about Hatton. Both BEFORE and AFTER the fight.

 

i thought Broner said before the fight he didnt know who this nobody cabbage rees was? how is he now a world class fighter?

 

Rees gave a good account of himself given the odds.

 

I think Broner is a better person than he comes off as. Post fight i actually saw a slight sign of humbleness. Could be wrong though.

To me, he looks like a very young guy who is not naturally very social. People are correctly telling him that the best way to make money off his talent is to act brash and try to say and do things people remember. So he's doing his best to put on that kind of performance, even though it doesn't come naturally to him.

Of course, it's working. He'll make just as much of the haters as the fans.

 

It's a shame Broner decides to act like a ***** to appeal to the dumb American audience who love that sort of thing.

That interview, away from the American publics eye he actually seemed like a decent guy. Besides, his Floyd Mayweather wannabe act comes across as so forced... it's like WWE quality acting at times with his lame insults he's been told to say.

Shame dumb American audience for some reason won't take to a boxer unless he acts like a bellend.

Broner seems very sociable to me, I think that is why he can pull of the class clown act so well.

He is just a fun loving dude, if you can't see past the trash talk then it is you who are missing out IMHO.

 

I don't mind the **** talk but Broner needs to more gracious in victory. He was still talking **** about Rees when watching the replays with Kellerman. I've never seen Mayweather bad mouth somebody after winning, acknowledging that most of his antics are to build up the fight. Talk smack BEFORE and even DURING the fight. AFTER the fight though act like you're a professional in a professional sport.

 

Broner is Broner. What you see is what you get. He is an exciting fighter and thats what people pay for. Back the **** up and enjoy the ride. People said the same **** about Ali, then Mayweather and now Broner. Think about it, the main thing they have in common is incrediable talent. Broner looked so good with them combos that he made the great Roy Jones chuckle and say wow. Broner,23 with a bullet.:bbb

 

Kellerman was the worse brown-nosing up to him. He had his head so far up Broner's ass he could have told us what Broner had for breakfast.

**** off you *****. There were 2, one of which was a touch controversial since it came off when the ref seemingly called for a break (Although to be fair to Broner, Rees had done similar to Broner earlier in the fight)
