lmao I felt the same when I watched the fight. It's funny because Rees weighed 0.5lbs MORE than Broner at the weigh-in but looked like he was fighting someone at least 1 weight class larger in the fight.

I was thinking the exact same thing! As i watched it, I thought to myself, if a taller fighter was trying to enact this gameplan, it wouldn't work. But because of this kids low center and head movement, it's working for him.

On a side note, your avatar reminded me. Can't wait till Saul taxes Trout's ass

    Yes it does.

Gavin Rees' being a relative midget made his plan of catching a doubled-over-in-laughter Broner a fight-changing, vicous left hook to the knee perhaps more believable though still unlikely...

Dude beat up a midget, man.

Exactly. He was able to weave far under Broner's comfortable throwing level and access the body with relative ease. Tall fighters would have to fight differently to go in and out on him.

I agree but I also see what the others are saying. Had Rees been taller he would not have been able to get away with what he was doing (successfully) in the first two rounds.

He is still a small foe

NVM just saw your new post. We're in agreement

No. I know. Half of my harangue is joking. Broner is probably gonna' be a big deal. But I don't wanna' hear him talkin' smack. I wanna' see him walkin' it and last night's selection of opponents fell short (hahahahahaha) and I intend to belittle (hahahaha...I'm here all week) Broner about it relentlessly. :yep

Saul still has nightmares about his older brother being thoroughly outclassed by Trout.

    Mental advantage = Trout

he toyed with Rees the whole fight even in the first two rounds he "lost". He realized the hype job couldn't hurt him so he fought like that. People are going overboard with him getting hit too much but I like it people will stop saying he is cherry picking now

neither rees or broener had beaten a top fighter to date. borener needs to step it up if he wants his fantasy to come true.

Broner isnt destroying Rios, if he allows Rios to get inside that easy the way Rees did, I am sorry But Broner is going to get his ass beat, I dont see Broner beating Rios.

I sure as **** dont see Garcia allowing Broner to get away with them elbows that leaning on the back and ****, Broner better stay away from Rios if he wants to keep that 0, if that was Rios in there last night, Broner would have been laid out in the 3rd or 4th round.

    lol?

I can't tell if you guys are serious. Rios is such a goddamn trashcan it's not even funny. He's antonio margarito all over again.

If Broner meets Rios it'll be like Mosley Margs. You'll see :nut
