Your point was that Williams would be picked by half of all responding posters to beat Armstrong - that's now been uncovered as completely untrue. It meant something when you believed it to be true, but now it's been exposed as being untrue, it doesn't matter and your "point stills stands"? Then why make it?

A straight swap seems reasonable to me...or Ortiz should be lower tahn that?

Well i'll stick anyone going in holding (Hopkins is already in there). The point of the holding tier was to see if anyone would come along and make an argument for that fighter(this is explained in the OP)...look at the tiers as they stand and say where you think these guys should be and why, that would be the way to do it.

The original idea was for posters to make suggestions about which fighters should be moved where and why, who should be added and why, where they should be added. I don't understand what you mean about great period rather than great relatively? I don't know what is causing the confusion tbh. But there definitely is some.

    Who??

It's really soft down there...what i'm hoping is that by working back to front it might be a little more solid...but i wouldn't argue a lock for anyone down there yet.

Spinks is unranked at this point. That holding tier thing is hard to get your head around, apparently.

Basically it consists of guys who have been named, seem reasonable, but nobody has said "what about this" or "what about that". It'll morph into a natural teir if they just get left where they are and i'll develop another "holding" tier below it. My hope is it'll still turn into a naturalistic process.

Yeah I got that. Still, he deserves to be bracketed already.

Deserves has nothing to do with it - everybody "deserves" a ranking. If you mean I should have done it already, that was never the plan. It's an invitation to the forum to pitch in. It's not really working out
