Lewis. Holmes has a shot owing to his superior jab (Shock horror) but Ali is too mobile for him in the end.
Lewis and Tyson had too much power for Ali to take, they could beat him. Both Klitschkos were too tall and too clever and Ali always struggled with taller opponents. Wlad would work the jab and pick up a UD victory. Vitali would just flat out out-power him. KO victory round 9 or 10. Dempsey and Marciano - The two best ever heavyweight boxers imo are just too good for Ali. It would be closer than Ali vs the Klitschkos and Ali vs Tyson or Lewis but I'd fancy both Dempsey and Marciano to pick up the win. Hence, Ali isn't the best heavyweight of all time. Nowhere near.
Good god. Too much power for Ali to take?! Did you miss his fights with Foreman and Shavers? atsch ****ing hell kid.
Ali got KTFO by middleweight bum Cooper. The ridiculously overrated Ali gets destroyed by either Klitschko.
Nope I saw them. I just think Tyson and Lewis have that extra bit of power that would put Ali out. He couldn't cope with either of them junior.
:huh Here's your chance, technically break down for me, how Tyson lands his punches on Ali? Then Technically break down how the defensive orientated Lennox Lewis would commit enough to knock Ali out?
I never got this argument... You can't technically break down a fictional/speculative fight because there's so many variables and so many unpredictable factors that come into play once in the ring. One lucky punch at the right moment changes the entire game. It's impossible to accurately break down a speculative fight because you have no idea what factors might influence things. It seems to be something that the armchair managers enjoy doing. Kinda like the blokes at football who think they know better tactics and such than the actual manager. I just know Ali struggled against bigger opponents so the Klitschko could both easily beat him and, he showed times that a good punch could hurt him (Like when Henry Cooper put him down for the count... which really should have won him the fight were it not for cheating on behalf of Clay's corner). Both Tyson and Lewis could and probably would beat Ali. Ali would stand a better chance against Tyson since he did leave himself open at times but Lewis, he wouldn't stand a chance. Saying that, I think Ali would last to the end against both Tyson and Lewis but he would just take one heck of a beating. Their power would be enough to beat the fight out Ali although Ali would probably last the distance.
