That's just ridiculous. Robbing people is bad enough, but then to rob an old woman is that much lower.
i have a friend that's fighting a robbery case and it's not looking good. he's looking @ about 8 years in prison. trust me, America does not let these type of things slide. they want nothing more than to put criminals in prison for as long as they can no matter how young they are. they'll actually try to pin other robberies on you just to try to get you to admit to the one theyre accusing you of. you're not walking away from this if you're guilty.

They were let off because the British justice system is too soft, not because they're footballers. Every week you hear about chav scum doing similar and getting ****-pot sentances by some limp-wristed, PC judge living his manor house who doesn't have to deal with criminal shites. LOL how can a robbery be a civil case? It is a criminal case but the victim can claim a compensation also in a civil trial. If he was guilty he must be convicted... maybe he was not.
