What makes me root for any athlete is their ability in their particular sport. I dont care what they do outside of their sport because i dont know them personally. Infact the only reason i know of them is because of their talent, so that's what i go by. Only judge the talent not the character. Going any further thn that is for females and people who want to hire them. I have my own life to worry about than to judge a guy i dont know that plays sports.

Pretty lousy thing to do regardless of ones envirnment. Unfortunately it changes little. Just more of a reason to dislike the guy for some and more of a reason to like, or at the very least make excuses for the guy among others.
