It's official: Bute vs Pascal May 25th!!!!

Hard hitters, and Froch against Bute has fought like Pascal against Hopkins, jumping in, leaping in, spring forward with hooks.

 

does anybody have any news on why pascal didn't want to fight dawson? it doesn't make sense to me. yeah, it will be a big fight for canada, but pascal had the chance to claim dawsons belt again.

was it money? someone must know something?

 

Pascal & Bute will each make a minimum of $2million..... rather than under the $1million mark against Dawson for Pascal, and not much to Bute for a fight the same night against whomever else available.

They will look forward to possibly adding a rematch and depending, possibly make it into a trilogy.

It's all about money and interest for it since that first fight will most likely land at the Olympic Stadium instead of the Bell Center.

 

maybe dawson could take on bellew (if he takes out chilemba quick, maybe he'll be ready within 7 weeks) murat, who was messed about by cloud. or even kovalev who just knocked out campillo.

either one of them three would be great fights.

I wouldn't trust GYM or Interbox for one moment with this announcement.Great for for Quebec but I don't see it happening May 25th.Perhaps in the fall.
Both guys are in decline and I understand they want to cash in,but May is too soon.

 

Hopefully it is at the Peps stadium. The tickets would sell in 5 minutes and there would be 25,000 to 30,000 thousand people. The big O is to big. Peps, at Laval University, is better.
