I think Canelo will win a wide UD and then people will overrate him again for beating someone who's only quality win is against a past it, blown up Cotto. i might be wrong but i think if ODLH is putting Canelo in there its because they see some holes in Trouts game

trout will have to win by at least 7-5 if not 8-4 and outland canelo by 40+ punches.

but haymon and trout already know this and im sure are fairly confident that he can pull it off.

if they werent, they wouldve never publically called out canelo.

I am picking Canelo to win by a hard-fought decision. I can honestly see the contest going to either combatant. I think Trout being a southpaw and a pretty good boxer will present some trouble for the young Canelo. Let us not forget that Trout is a big jr. middleweight. He has fought above 160 lbs. five times! He has good, but not super fast lateral movement and fights smart in the ring. Having said that, I still believe Canelo's activity, faster hands and good chin will prevail.

Why do you believe ginger has faster hands. That is highly debatable. I believe totally false.

Of the 2 canelo is the one that is overhyped. This is a a big step up in comp for canelo. If canelo beats trout legit he will have proved he can compete at 154.

7 to 5 for trout goes to canelo. 8 to 4 trout is a draw. He better soundly beat canelo 9 to 3 and drop him a few times and then maybe get a decision.

is the fight signed? I doubt the fight ever happens. Thats a big step up in comp for canelo. Better take on an angulo or kirkland 1st.

Its quite a big step up for canelo. If he loses and performs well it doesnt hurt him at all.

whats truly sad about this is that canelo is the reigning wbc 154 champ for two years running.

and he has yet to prove that he can COMPETE, let alone be a legit champion, at 154.

and to think that we had douchebags on this forum advocating a canelo/angulo-cotto titel defense as opposed to trout.

    that, is whats ruining boxing.

People are very underrated canelo skills but unlike chavez jr, canelo got skills. Unlike cotto, canelo will have size advantage in which i'm refering to body size and weight. He will put alot of pressure on trout. Trout may have height advantage but it doesnt matter. Canelo body attack and combination attack will be too much for trout trust me.
