They became TR propaganda spewers and blatant Floyd haters, bringing people into the ring after Floyd wins and all making Mosley get the ass whipping of his life, would they ever do that to Pacquiao. Them firing Merchant couldn't get them out of the corner they back themselves into.

Things is going on at HBO behiund the scenes anyway they have shuned Merchant and is in the process of fazing out Lederman, HBO and their shitty once every few month cards cant possibly survive.......

 at HBO trying to make their presentation more showtime like Saturday

This shall rock the boxing foundation of HBO.When HBO lost a Pacman fight to Showtime, Greenberg got summarily fired.Looks like Hershman and that fool Kerry Davis are headed for big time trouble. How are they going to explain this?Looks like every so often David does beat Goliath(HBO)!
Amazing developements in the PPV world.
Looks like Showtime has finally stopped taking it on the chin and has landed a knockout blow to HBO!:deal

I don't like it. HBO has always been the home of boxing.

Interesting move. Will be interesting to see how HBO move forward. Will all GBP & Haymon fighters move to Showtime? Will HBO never put on a GBP card again? :think

HBO is the premiere premium cable subscription channel in the US. Many more people subscribe to HBO than SHO. SHO is like the neglected stepchild.

HBO has been the main power broker in boxing in the US, but things may be changing.

    Home Boxing Office. :yep

Nah, it doesn't really matter. HBO and Showtime shift the balance of power back and forth like a hot potato. It has always ebbed and flowed. HBO puts out the larger budget, though (historically, anyway) so they'll inevitably surge back in front again once Mayweather retires.
