Damn that's a good replacement fight. :smoke

Hendricks wins this, he must get his shot for sure. Condit, maybe a win gets him a rematch too. He fought well first time around.

Hendricks is going to have an extremely hard time pinning Condit down with his hands, Johnny hits hard but he's slow and predictable. He's wide open to a counters from a Muay Thai guy who can maintain the advantageous striking distance

I suspect this is going to be similar to CC v Rory 1, but Hendricks may rack up the 1st two rounds in the clinch and take the D

**** it, this is a better fight for the division. That is assuming MacDonald is unavailable to fight GSP. What was the upside of a MacDonald victory over Condit, if MacDonald refuses to fight his training partner?

At least these guys have to qualms with fighting GSP.

  5. If there were no belt to speak of, I would say this is the best fight in the division.

It's a shame when fighters drop out and I believe Hendricks deserves a shot at the champion rather than getting stuck with a very difficult roadblock in Condit.

I'm not sure if Hendrick can win but when has anyone been sure of Hendricks? Just get on board

Hendricks vs Condit could turn out to be a fun fight and possibly a short fight if Hendricks can put his hands on Condit

BTW he should change his last name to Hendrix for shits and gigs

Interesting take on how it will go.

I see it the same way essentially, except I don't think Hendricks is as slow as you say, he's just a one trick pony with his standup and a guy with more refined striking skills, and KO power like Condit should have the advantage, especially once he tags Hendricks with a counter.

Problem, Hendricks has fast hands and since he's an unorthodox/ raw puncher he may not be as easy for Condit to time and counter as we may think. Seeing as he can buzz people while moving back with the rear left hook, and that he can essentially buzz guys with arm punches, he's pretty darn dangerous, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ko's Condit either. Just a strange style to fight against. He's got ****** power in his hands, cant teach that ****.

I agree. Hendrix has very basic striking but he isnt slow at all. In fact I would say his punches are really fast because he can throw arm punches with knockout power.

Hendricks looks like this when he throws his bombs. And he leeps in from miles out. Seems exploitable to me:
