It seems that Floyd is held at an extremely high standards by people who claim not to even like him..why is that??are they saying no 1 at 147-154 can beat him??

    "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"

Floyd claims to be the best fighter in the history of the sport. If you're going to make claims like that then you better provide some extraordinary evidence to back it up. Beating fighters like Cotto, Ortiz and Guerrero isn't going to suffice.

Mayweather is a champ at 154lb.

Martinez is a former 154lb champ who has stated several times that he only left the division for big fights.

So if Martinez is a 154lb fighter and Floyd competes at 154lb. WHY SHOULDNT THEY FIGHT?

Floyd is #1 P4P and Martinez is #2/3 depending on where you have Ward.

How rare is it to have two top P4P fighters that are able to fight each other?

You, as a boxing fan, should be demanding this. Instead you are continuing to be a ***** dick rider. 'whatever you do is fine with me Floyd. Don't worry, i won't ever demand you take a serious challenge. I'm a TRUE fan. Keep ripping me off for the chump that i am'.

I dont say he needs to but its the fight i as a fan want most

the amount of achievement from that win would be massive

If not Sergio then either Canelo or Bradley would be best

I'm not that convinced that Sergio can make 154 anymore or that he ever plans to. I'd like to see him actually come down in weight first

It has nothing to do with what Floyd says its just they are searching and hoping someone can beat him, the bigger the opponent the better the chances in their opinion.

The fact is I would love to see the fight but Martinez should at least take a fight at 154lbs and look good there.

Until he does it's just BS....Martinez is too big and keeps fighting at 160lbs 2 divisions higher than Floyds next fight.

I wonder how Floydettes would react if Martinez suddenly decided he couldn't be bothered coming down to the contractual weight and instead came in two pounds over?

I think Martinez has earned the right over the last couple of years for us to take his words at face value. He is not one to make bogus claims or talk out of his ass.
