After Serg it will be Andre Ward...they hate Floyd....he said it any he fight's after he's through with them...they discredit the fighter....

Watch...Sergio will be a weight drained...38 yr old expired fighter that got dropped by a bum like Chavez Jr....this is what they will say....

    F*cking fruitcakes

Floyd-Martinez is one of those rare instances where I'd be fine with a catchweight. As long as it's at least 157

It's everything to do with that.

He claims he's the best ever. He should prove it.

Why? If he says he'll fight at 154 and he'll sign the contract then there should be no problem.

Funny how size wasnt an issue when Marquez jumped up in weight to fight Mayweather, only when its time for Mayweather to come up. And its a jump up ONE division that he already faught at twice and won a championship

You guys cant be serious with this ****

I don't know when the transition happened but I swear, boxing now if full of fans of fighters rather than fans of the sport.

Can you remind me the last time Martinez made 154lb's?

Floyd is a former champion at 135lbs should he be fighting Broner? Because they are both 135lb fighters right and both on the P4P lists right?

Demand Martinez fight at 154lb first once he does that and wins and doesn't look dead at the weight then I will be screaming with you for the fight :good

As highlighted by the fact that most of frauds fans spend more time talking about his money than his fights

I'm sure HE THINKS he can make 154 and I'm sure he's being 100% truthful. But he closer to 40 than he is 30. Plus he's been at middleweight for a while. I don't think he can actually make 154 anymore

People just keep raising the bar higher.

Apparentlky a guy who started at 130, need to beat the 160 Lineal champ to prove hes great.

Winning titles from 130-154 doesnt cut it apparently. Only if he gets that 160 crown will he truely be great.

The fact that hes an,at best,an average sized,147lbser is irrelevant.

All that being said, if Martinez could make 154,Id love to see the fight.

Well, that's for him to decide isn't it. If he says he can then he can. But Floyd doesn't want any of that fight anyway, so it's all moot.

Anyway, if he's struggling to make the weight he can just decide not to bother and weigh in at 156lbs and pay Floyd some money, because that's completely fine, isn't it?

Theres the flip side too. People who dont seemt o be fans of the sport at all, but who really hate one particular guy, be it Floyd,Pacman, Ward, Klitschkos etc.

In your mind it might be but here in reality it has nothing to do with that, many boxers say all kinds of outlandish things and fans don't make unrealistic demands on them.

If he is serious about fighting at 154lbs why not do it, how do we even know he can make the weight anymore? If he comes down and takes a fight with Floyd and looks bad people will swear blind Floyd drained him and yet another of his wins will be tainted.

At least if he fights at 154lbs we know he can make the weight, and should the fight ever be made there are no excuses.....also it's not like the names he IS fighting at 160lb's are generating big money anyway (with the exception of Chavez Jr ofcourse)

He could do exactly what Floyd does in reverse fight at 160 and 154....why not? He thinks he's the best fighter in the world why not let him prove it huh?
