Why do people keep saying Floyd needs to fight Martinez?

It's funny how some idiots use JMM vs. Floyd as some sterling example of two P4P fighters going at it, yet scoff at Floyd vs. Martinez. Of course, no one (but other floyd cocksuckers) ever accused Floyd fans of having brains or any form of consistency.

And there's a few here to act like Shane was a top 3 P4P fighter beating margarito. :patsch One big win in 7-8 years makes you a top 3? Floyd fanboys...some of the dumbest ****s to act like so-called experts.

I look at somebody's frame more than their weight tbh. If you can't see that Mayweather's frame is significantly bigger than Marquez and Manny then you are blind in my opinion.

Some people put on a lot of muscle to reach the weight. Floyd is super lean and quick as a welter. It's a perfect weight for him. Marquez is slow and sluggish at the weight. Although he has adjusted more in the Manny fight.

Man you don't know boxing too well he was P4P #3 when Mayweather fought him. He had just come off his destroying on Margo.

Mayweather makes everyone look slow and sluggish at the weight. Frame doesn't tell you everything. Just because Floyd has like half an inch in height, and longer arms doesn't make him this giant against Marquez.

While i don't think it's nessccary for him to fight Martinez a mayweather vs Martinez bout has been high on my list of top fights for years forget mayweather-pacquiao but ONLY at 160 anything else is completely pointless it's widely known that losing weight is harder than gaining weight with built in excuses like old age and weight draining the only way this bout means anything is a 160 with Floyd going for a possible title I'm a sixth wright class only way i see mayweather hitting 160 though is for his last fight listening to people its like they expect him to go from 147 to 160 to 147 to 154 which is crazy aslong as there are credible fights at 47/54 such as Bradley, PAC (hard to make but still) an Alvarez-trout winner i don't see him at middle weight again Mayweather vs Martinez is ONLY a credible fight at 160 at 154 its a **** fight an pointless

Well it's never going to be a perfect comparison, but I think guys like Haye and Adamek going up against a guy 30+ lbs bigger, with a 5 inch height and 6 inch reach advantage puts a bit of perspective on people complaining about 5lbs here and there.

Do you agree with Shane being ranked this high? What exactly had he done to get a ranking of 3? A single,. big win over Margarito? Same Margarito whom you and about all the other Floyd fans say sucked? :huh

Some of you (or others :D...) need to grow the **** up and realize P4P ranked means jack ****.

Why do you guys even go by ANYTHING related to a P4P list, as if it means anything?

Answer this, do you honesly think Shane was deserving of being labeled the third best P4P fighter at the time? All based on a single big win over Margarito?

Because when you are as good as mayweather, they want you to live up to your potential, because it's based off of fighters from the past with the same level of talent who did it, like SRL... Duran... Hearns... etc. It's why guys wanted people like RJJ fighting everyone from Middleweight to heavy. Sure they wouldnt do this to lesser fighters, but the talent nearly demands that they do something special.

One thing is for sure with a p4p list. You don't go by ring magazine.

    I go by my eyes.

Shane Mosley was washed up when he fought Miguel Cotto. He hasnt beena P4P fighter since his win over Oscar
