Sho and GBP have literally everyone now. Throw Santa Cruz or Mares on the undercard. Maybe Matthysse like HBO did with Morales back in the day.

We already have Canelo/Trout which is a must watch fight itself.

Then of course The Return Of The King is back doin' his thing. Can't wait :smoke

I'm looking forward to Canelo - Trout, it's a far better fight than the forgone conclusion that is Mayweather - Guerrero, which is frankly pants.

What does Sky usually charge. Or do they only do the domestic Box Office fights?

It'll be on BoxNation most likely.

Dan Rafael is saying that Schaeffer said Alvarez fighting on May 4th isn't a done deal reagardless of who the opponent is. Says we should know about Alvarez in the next day or two.

Why are so many of you down on Mayweather vs Guerrero fight? If Canelo has never fought a fighter his own size and Trout has just 1 top tier win, how do we know that the Canelo/Trout fight won't be a sleeper? Sure you might like Mayweather antics, which actually have toned down a lot, but how can you not like sheer boxing technique? Guerrero, he's got a tough chin, and he seems mentally strong. He's the best choice now at 147. And since you guys like the quiet, good guys...there you go.

Sky Sports is a monthly subscription channel, they don't do box office for fights in America (unless they feature a British fighter). A couple of times in the last few years a weird PPV channel called 'Primetime' has bought the rights to Pacquiao and Mayweather fights and tried selling them on PPV and charged £15, but next to no one even knows about those channels so the fights would barely have been watched.

Also, there's a boxing channel over here called Boxnation that charges £10 a month which picked up the last Mayweather fight.

All depends who decides to pick up the rights I suppose. Worst case scenario is Primetime buys them.

Because it's a complete forgone conclusion and won't really be competitive.

Tenner a month, gets pretty much every golden boy card (including PPVs) all Warr£n cards and most of the fights in Germany.

    Worth it overall.

That seems pretty worth it then. I just had friends from the UK and they always complained about expensive boxing PPVs....must have just been tight ****s

PPVs are only £15 here. BUt I think the problem was that Sky went through a stage of putting fights on PPV that were completely not worthly of it.

I don't think boxing has ever been over £15 PPV here, we have it laughably cheap in comparison to the US.

The only fight from the US that I remember being on Sky PPV (that didn't feature a Brit) was Oscar vs Hopkins.
