never said canelo had "amazing" power, but he is not pillow fisted either. i think canelo hits harder than cotto, and trout had way too much respect for cottos punches, so imagine how shy a couple of combinations from canelo are going to make him.
apparently, you did a quick boxrec study and concluded that trout can beat canelo, fine. now you choose to dismiss the simple to understand points i made and busting them down to a gut feeling because they dont jive with your prediction, fine. all thats left is for the fight to demonstrate who had the clearer picture of what goes on in the ring.

I've visited boxrec about 5 times in my life. What I have been doing though is watching Trout on showtime & all of ginger's stateside fights.

Like I said, you have absolutely no substance to back your ginger theory. Here's why, the only borderline decent jr middleweight he's ever fought, went the distance, then retired.

Mosley hadn't won in 3 years.
Cintron got blanked by Molina & barely beat an espn fighter on espn.
Josesito visited his 2nd weightclass in as many fights.
Gomez's best win was a haf dead Gatti.

All that I know off the top of my dome. I watch boxing, most televised fights on showtime, hbo, espn. I stream all my ppv's & keep up with as much boxing as possible.

Again, all you have is a gut feeling cause nothing ginger has done supports what you say.

the only gut feeling i have, is that you are the latest of one of the *****s alts. it seems like you desperately need for people to think youre right, you have your opinion, i think you are wrong, lets move on to fight time to see who knows what.

All I know is that talking about ginger/Trout has absolutely nothing to do with Floyd. There are a couple posters here that know who I am, they will all tell you that I am far, far from a Floyd fan. I'd change the subject too if I had nothing factual to stand on & start calling people (*****) too, lol!!

Trout beat Cotto's ass.. The fight wasn't even competitive! Look at this Mayweather fan boy princess hating on Trout because the man beat Cotto much more clearly than his lover boy! LMAO

How about during negotiations, the email asking the Mayweather team that if they came out possitive, what would be the penalty?

    not proof?

His skill set is impressive. He is very well rounded and is actually seeking to fight the best out there. Cotto followed by Canelo is very ambitious by today's standards.

Plus, he's an extremely likable guy who is easy to root for.

Trout is good, but he is like watching paint dry.

I am not sure why people think he is good post Cotto. That Cotto fight is a horrible matchup. Basically that was the same scenario that has killed the HW division, i.e., a small Boxer Puncher trying to beat a huge pure Boxer. It ain't happening and really doesn't tell you much about either man's skill.

I would rather Trout face guys like Bundrage, Kirkland, Vanes, etc... to prove his worth. With Canelo's low output and Trout's willingness to coast I think this fight will pull some steam out of the division.

People are high on Trout because he got his shot and has made the most of it, to this point. Unfortunately boxing is so subjective, every fighter in the sport, past or present, accomplishments are questioned.

Trout is really a good fighter, but not great...at least not yet.

the kermit that jumped out of the ring against pw and then got schooled in a 10-round fight against molina?

no, and canelo shouldve fought molina instead of cintron.

cintron is a smaller, weak-minded version of andrew golota.

watch both his margo fights and youll understand why gbp had canelo fight him.
