Mate i was in your position this time last year. I booked up for 9 days in Vegas for the Mayweather Cotto fight. Vegas is amazing bro its truly another world out there. I wish i had the money to go again this year! im gettinf depressed now haha!

Im not a drinker or a gambler and even I had fun mate there is so much to do out there. from shows to driving Ferrari and flying over the canyon.

I took 1600 us dollars with me and spent every penny. however i done alot of tings out there mate, including flying over the canyon driving a Ferrari machine gun experience 5 shows and all the rest on top and thats with abit of gambling on the slots!

with reference to tickets check on the website but to be fair my mate got them from ebay and i just met him out there and gave him the money for them!!

its a good crack mate you will love it! just getting around all the hotels will take you a week have fun and enjoy bro!

Just a last min decision plus I was struggling to get the time off work .I went through expedia and tried to book to Vegas and it froze .Next day just booked to Amsterdam for a 3rd time .My boss said i'm allowed a fortninght off in May because I have changed to nightshift now so might go for it .Not even worried about a ticket might just watch it in a bar or something . I'll see what happens if I decide to go .

That's what I would be looking at mate 9 10 days roughly and arleast 1 day travel each way .1 grand flight and hotel roughly 1 spending .Any good decent shops for decent priced US clothes ( jeans trainers etc ) ?

Go to the Las Vegas Outlet mall which is a $15 cab from the strip. Has all the stores you can imagine and its at least half the price of the UK. I got a couple of Ralph Lauren t shirts there yesterday for £7. You would get a pair of Levis for £20.

    What hotel you staying at?

I am not 100 percent yet but seriously thinking about it .I've been pricing on expedia just flight and booking something cheap on hostelworld .AAE Las Vegas Palace Station Casino looks good only £15 per night Another bit of advice for TS what I learned in Amsterdam .I wouldn't stay in anything minted I did it in Amsterdam and it was expensive as f--k .I'll probably defintley try something middleclass with internet cheap beer and food .My hotel in Amsterdam 80 f----g Euros for a bottle of champagne , never again .Don't want anything too cheap though cause it will be the opposite ( no f----g internet etc ) I'll probably look for a 3 star if I decide to go . This is my first choice so far .

That hotel is not on the strip which is why its so cheap. You will spend $25 to get to the strip everyday and you wont be expiriencing vegas staying there.

Limit your search to the strip.

If you wanna stay somewhere cheap try LVH, Flamingo, Ballys.

Also your gonna need more than £1k in spending money. Vegas is an expensive place.

i think if you have $150 a day and then extra money set aside for clothes etc you will be ok.
