Walcott...not a chance, too small, but Jack Dempsey, now that's a different story, a fighter without equal, nonpareil.

No I spend my life teaching. Boxing history is a passion of mine though, not as much as poker, or football but it's a passion none the less.

I'll research a guy, discuss him on here and further my knowledge. That's the purpose of a forum like this, to further our collective knowledge.

I'm not interested in acceptance but if someone can point out a misjudgement I've made then I'm happy to learn from then. I love the history of this sport and if you think that's something to look down upon then that's your choice.

Don't worry about me wasting my existence though, I got in at half 4 this morning after banging an 18 year old and I spent tonight at my mates pub playing cards and getting pissed. Thankfully i have a phone with internet so i can post on here whilst away from my computer.

First off congratulations on the 18 year old. Second; it always suprises me that people assume you have to spend a lot of time to post on the site formerly known as ESB. I'm not sure I've ever been on here on anything other than my mobile.

It's my mates daughter so gotta hope he doesn't find out lol.

Yeah I am very rarely at home so I reckon atleast 80% of the time I post from my phone. If there's a specific discussion about guys I can't recall from the top of my head I'll see what I have on my computer about him but that aside i post from memory on my phone.

Here we go,Seamus is this you? Not only does state the Klits are the best EVER HW but Ali and Holmes were bums, Foreman and Tyson have little power compared to them. Good stuff.

Haha no I'd never go for a student, not worth the risk plus I could never see them like that anyways.

Look down on boxing history? When did that happen?..... I didn't happen to be aware of a boxer from the 1800s and was called a mong by you and a ****** by another idiot....Thats a high degree of snobbery and ignorance out of you but in my defence i dont feel the need to devluge details of personal life in an attempt to convince people i have an active social life, which you clearly do.

you referred to him as an obscure boxer, one that I'd need to to spend my existence trawling through google to discover when that really couldn't be further from the truth.

again i don't need to convince anyone you're just a user name on a screen. i'm just assuring you that you have no need to worry about me wasting my life on here :good

He was obscure to you till you looked him up on the internet, probably a few months ago. Jersey Joe is obscure to a lot of people in and around boxing , i can tell you that for fact......Just because he is well known in the classic's of a boxing forum doesn't mean he's not obscure.
