No. Lewis caused the stoppage by bludgeoning Vitali's face so bad that it needed 60 stitches. The doctor saved Vitali's career by advising the ref to stop the fight before the cuts Lewis caused got any worse. Anyway you look at it, the fight was stopped because of the damage Lewis was inflicting, making it a completely legitimate win for Lewis and a completely legitimate loss for Vitali.
If Lewis hadn't absolutely destroyed Vittles face with punches than the ref would have had to stop it on advice from the doctor, would he? Bottom line is its Lewis who caused the stoppage and there is no way around that. Look at it however you like, but those are the facts. TKO6, live with it! :yep
I cannot believe that there are still kbros fans who cry over this lose . . . its been a ****ing decade ****s . . . get the **** over it TKO6 bitches
Without the doctor the ref would have never stopped it. So in such a case I'd call it a doctor stoppage. The ref just made it official.
Your post lost any credibility when you stated that the doctor saved Vitali's career. You don't know that. Besides that, if Lewis legitimately won he would have given a rematch for a career payday. We know what happened there.
Thinking about it now, Lewis has been retired since that fight while Vitali is still around. It's great to be a Vitali fan :yep
Your definition of paper something is opposite. TKO6 is a paper win. Vitali's belt is legit because he's the best boxer in the world.
