Maybe HBO has to step it up a notch in terms of quality PPV cards. Maybe its not a bad thing and we might see the matches we want to see. Who knows.

I don't give a **** what the point of this thread is, I made my comment clear and obvious. You poked a pathetic joke about Ward's fan-base and got an ass ripping of a response in return.

HBO has Top Rank. I think that while they will miss Mayweather, their not going to be hurting too bad.

I think it was a mistake by Showtime.
They're going to find out real quick Mayweather's not for making the fights the fans want to see.

    :deal

With this big fat deal I would image Floyd will fight a string of easy touches until the Pacquiao fight can be made...

Its less likely to be made now that Mayweather is with Showtime and Pacquiao with HBO.

I cant imagine Showtime paying Mayweather that much money to take a backseat and let HBO handle the broadcast on a big Mayweather PPV event.

Pacquiao has a deal with HBO? I thought Pacquiao was on a fight-by-fight basis with HBO...

You might be right. Pacquiao did jump ship once and fought on a Showtime PPV for the Mosley fight if memory serves me.

I hope you're right. I also hope that after the way HBO treated Marquez with PED fingerpointing, that he insists to Arum that a 5th Pacquiao fight can only be made if Showtime does the broadcast.

Would be poetic justice to see the biggest known fighters all bail on the joke thats become HBO! :yep
