Higher, but in the same teir. That is, one will be ranked above the other but in the same batch.

Yeah, imma leave those as the focus for a few more hours until I open up the next lot.

I think his MW resume is very good and his latter run at hw seals his greatness. his lhw run was **** but a bit misleading, I mean who really deserved to beat him in the lhw fights he had? he obviously fell out of love with the sport and got fat but he came back to turn hat around imo.

Even at heavy he wasn't great. I give him credit for the first Peter fight, and Ruiz really despite what came out after, but Tiberi and Griffin? He looked ****.

Guys, I don't mean to come off as an *******, but I need you to leave this discussion be (at least in this thread).

Things are getting tight and difficult and I don't want to be trawling back through posts to see what so and so said about such and such. I want the debate pointed at this time. That's because we have 60 names and 20 slots, yeah?

I promise there will be a time for arguments at the end for anyone I don't nominate in the 110. So don't panic. But keep you discussion to the problem at hand -- if you've nothing to say about these issues, that's cool, and we'll be onto these guys in a couple of hours and tomorrow if you're not around.

    Cheers.

So you're saying out of that holding who deserves tier status and who needs to stay in the pen?

Love Toney. But is he really greater than Larry Holmes, Young Stribling, Jim Driscoll?

I have no real objection with Toney in the 90-100, just not sure luf's assertion he'd have him over everyone in the holding bracket is fair. Not a stone clad guaranteed top 100 P4P fighter.

Right. Holding is about to become IX.

Some of those guys are going to drop down to holding again, some are going to stay. At this point I don't see anyone who needs to be moved up...

That's cool, I think we've both said all that needs to be said on the matter.

Archie Moore, Lloyd Marshall, Billy Conn are the guys above him that he was able to beat.

Other notables: Vince Dundee, Solly Krieger, Ken Overlin,

And these guys were all in form in/approaching their primes when he got them. How do you feel he rates in relation to Apostolini, Abraham, Krieger?

Leave Oscar alone for the moment please. He's on the list for a re-negotiation at the end but I want to keep focused on this lot, the next lot.
