You think Ghost will give Floyd that many problems?

Personally, i think Floyd is going to toy with him, but we shall see on the 4th of May.

He easily does... hes far more accurate and more skilled.

I wish people would stop with these blanket statements of oh Diaz did this and Ghost is better than him bla bla bla... styles styles styles.

Why do people that watch boxing have no clue how styles mesh.
Add to that JMM is a multi dimensional fighter, like he would not adapt.

I can do dumb blanket statements as well.... Pac is far better even at this point than Ghost and JMM KTFO so obviously he would do the same to Ghost (hope this makes some of the previous realize how dumb their statements are.

Floyd got touched quite a bit from an aging Cotto. I believe that the Ghost right now is a far better pressure fighter than that version of Cotto.

Pac was winning, key word here is WAS. He didn't get lazy at all, as a matter of fact he was hellbent on finishing off JMM, which is one of the reasons that got him KOed. And that was a Pac that looked the best he had in years.

Guerrero maybe stronger and younger and all that ****, but JMM would be by far the best and more skilled opponent he would ever be facing and would be a huge step up to what he has been facing north of 130lbs. JMM is too skilled, too experienced for the kid.

But none of this matters, since hes gonna fight Floyd next and is gonna get completly schooled.

and yes Berto IS a hypejob, Ortiz was the best fighter he had faced at that point and he got whooped and would get whooped again in a rematch. Off night my ass.

Cotto was looking the best he had in a long time that night. Plus that was at 154lbs. And i strongly disagree with your latter comment, but i respect your opinion.

Guerrero Bradley would be a fun fight.

Why do you pick Alexander over Robert?

RG looks like a true welter now and as big as JMM has gotten, he still really isn't a ww. He's too smart for Guerrero tho to fall into a phone booth type fight against RG. JMM needs his space to punch. He'd focus on alot of bodyshots and right hand counters. RG peakin like he is tho. This fight could go either way on a close decision. At this point JMM punches harder than Floyd, but may still lack the speed. RG doesn't mind getting hit alot like Margarito and this is a different beast than the one Salido fought tho. Salido would barely make him flinch today. If RG is the beast from the Berto fight I think RG can beat anyone at 147. He's a reincarnation of a southpaw Margarito and Castillo, but might actually be better.

WHY!? WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS BRING THIS FIGHT UP!?!? They tend to forget that Diaz was a very good fighter on his own who inified 3 titles by the age of 23. Also they forget that JMM owned JMM. He stopped him cold which is something no one else had ever done. What did you think was going to happen against a fighter who was known to throw well over 100 punches per round and had a solid chin. Of course he is going to trouble any fighter for at least a few rounds.

Ever since that fight people have said "Well Diaz gave JMM trouble so he wont be able to handle the weight."

    -Loss to PBF
    -Beats Diaz again
    -Stops Katsidis at same weight
-Stops Likar Ramos cold at 140
    -Schools Pac at WW
    -Schools Fedechenko at 140
-Kills Pac for about 30 seconds

Can we stop using the Juan Diaz fight as a reference as to why JMM will lose to a certain fighter?

I just see potential in Alexander to be an amazing talent.

I know he got gifts against kotelnik and matthyse but I think matthyse beats nearly anyone round that weight anyways and he overlooked kot who was seen as a cherry pick at the time.

I see him fight and I see ghost fight and I think Alexander has more about him, quicker hands, more power, better footwork. Ghost might have more heart which makes it intriguing but I'd expect Alexander to beat him.

Not only that, he pretty much ruined him.

Diaz went from taking punches from hard punchers like Popo Freitas, Julio Diaz and Michael Katsidis to being wobbled and dropped by Paulie ****ing Malignaggi. :patsch

Juarez, Casamayor, Diaz, Katsidis...all fighters ruined at the hands of JMM.

Don't be suprised if Pacquiao's name ends up on that list as well.

Oh Pac is ruined. A KO like that is not something you come back from. Specially when you have a style like Pac. A PBF type fighter can come back from this as they are defensive first and are less likely to get hit.

Pac is going to be sleeping alot from now on. Last elite guy who got stopped like that was never the same. Paul Williams.
