Who will be remembered as the greater fighter: Wladimir Klitschko or Riddick Bowe?

Poll outcome will be quite different now probably :yep

 

Neither were/are great fighters. Klitschkos are the product of a dead division, nothing more, nothing less.

 

Bowe will be remembered as having the potential, but never living up to it because of the lack of discipline and dedication.

Wlad - if he can retire unbeaten from hereon - will be remember for his incredible discipline and work ethic, but not for gutsy toe-to-toe wars like Bowe. Wlad is the greater overall boxer and fighter of the two, by a large margin.

Atually he is the polar opposite of Bowe in many ways.

 

Bowe has the better wins, Wlad the better career. Head to head at their best Bowe knocks Wladdy out.

 

Wladimir will unquestionably go down as the greater fighter unless Bowe makes an epic comeback, beats Wladimir, and goes on to rule the division for a number of years. That's probably not going to happen, but H2H at their respective peaks, I've got Bowe all day.

Bowe had a very short peak, while Wlad and Vitali a very long stay at the top. Resume wise, it's not even close. Bowe

 

Wlad has had a longer career but Bowe is the superior fighter, H2H he would thrash Wlad & have him crawling round the ring within a round or 2.

Bowe whipped an undefeated ATG in his prime & he was the undisputed champion. Wlad has done nothing to top those 2 achievements.

 

Bowe had 3 classic fights with an ATG that are cemented in boxing history.
He had superior technical ability a better output of punch variety
Wlad never fought any great fighter or ever gave the sport a classic fight.
Prime Bowe would of went through his whole record unbeaten.
The only feat Wlad holds over him is dedication to fitness.
