Is it safe to say Wladimir got the worst chin of the top 10 heavyweights?

Turns out, winning championships is really, really hard. Takes a lot of work. You have to learn a ton of things. Work out frequently. Diet, you know. Go figure.

Hey! Feels like you are disrespecting the hard, endless hours fueled by diet coke and potatoe chips that we armchair fans put in watching Youtube in order to disregard and dismiss guys that achieve more than we'll ever come close to. ;)

Just have to love the "what did Sanders ever do except destroying an ATG HW champion"-line. To just share a ring with both Klits is an achievement in itself, but to actually starch one of them and shake up the other as well...

You're in training or just have the everlasting hunger for snacks?

I'm in the grey area between something actually happening and wanting to get big as a house cause I've earned it.

At this point, I would do a whole lot I'm not proud of for a Klondike bare.

I wish I'd have knocked a Klitschko out. That would have been awesome.

You are right to pull people up for it.

A lot of people are quick to forgett their own place when comparing great fighters.

Yep. I would have treated myself to plenty of Klondikes after doing something like that, I reckon (whatever they are:D).

    Klondike bar?

Dude...If you don't know what this **** is, you have twice the mental discipline I do. You are in the wrong profession.

Just haven't crossed the Atlantic probably, at least not the North Sea. I did reject the idea of a Snickers after skipping out on hitting the gym after work, though. Don't know where that rank on the scale of mental discipline.:D

Universe, I like your posts. With all due respect sometimes I wonder if people forget what they saw, or never saw on film here. Lewis fell into the ref's chest when he got up. It was the first hard shot McCall landed, and guess, what? He could not take it. How was this less of a KD in comparison to What Wlad has had? In my opinion Lewis was lucky it was stopped, because he bought into the pre-mature stoppage / lucky punch myth.

I am a Wlad fan, and yes, he doesn't react well mentally when caught, however, his ability to get up and recover based on the film I have seen is better than Lewis'.

To clarify, my opinion is Lewis was KO'd twice by one big punch early in a match where he was not caught with anything serious prior to the KO.

Yeah I kinda see why people refer to journeymen types as tomato cans but calling a world champion a limited semi pro golfer is ridiculous. Especially when that guy has one of the most destructive victories over one of the best heavyweights in history.

I get my buzz when a kid I teach goes from an E to a C, imagine the buzz from dominating wlad.

Every so often I do think even on here a but of perspective is needed. I know I myself have been critical of certain boxers but I always try to appreciate and respect them. I might say a phrase like "paper champ" but that just means I see them as a champion on paper and not the best out there.

I prefer the term titlist, but I definitely see where you are going.

It's not so much the names that get me, it's the flippant dismissal. Call them a tomato can; Just don't say they suck, don't call them a C-level fighter, etc. C-level fighters never even contend. If you've so much as challenged to challenge for a world title, you are an accomplished fighter to be lauded.

Wlad has never been kayoed. TKOed, yes. Never been kayoed. He's always gotten up. I don't know how people can call him weak with that kind of heart. He's shown more durability then Patterson did.
