Disagree with the first point, enjoyed the second. I do think Monzon and Hagler are a tier above B-Hop, although his longevity and LHW run could arguably put him in the 30-40 bracket (which is where I have both Marv' and Monz')

Yeah, I was whining about Hopkins being a bit too low in comparison to Monzon and Hagler since he did go beyond expectations..........but I'm over it.

I agree, while Chavez was past his best he was still capable, only losing to Oscar again 4 years later then to Wise a year later in an upset.

I like how he conveniently left off unbeaten Miguel Gonzales. I guess he doesn't get credit for that one since there was nothing to nitpick at?

Hernandez actually was at 135 for Delahoya's title. But if you watch the fight, Oscar looks the smaller man. I was baffled at how big Genaro actually was "in the ring" Oscar looked scrawny as hell, but still broke his face anyways.

**** the record book, that I will say. I used it in conjunction with my better judgement, which I find pretty reliable most of the time when I see something 'official' that doesn't sit right with me.

However with Rudkin-Rose, Kalambay-McCallum II, Prono-Poontarat, Calzaghe-Hopkins etc etc I can't complain about the results because they were that close.

Oscar Vs Trinidad was a clear Oscar victory. Not even in my opinion I think it's clear as day even when I'm watching it whilst going full ****** or mashed out of me head.

It's always Oscar for me in that fight, and I say that as a much bigger fan of Trinidad.

This. If you can find more than 5 rounds to give to Trinidad you are just trying TOO hard to score it for him. Same with Hopkins/Calzaghe, IMO.

There are just some fights that are too controversial to ignore. Pea/Chavez and Lewis/Holyfield 1 are also two others where it's hard to use the official cards.

cant remember it was years ago but i remember thinking it was very close and could of gone either way (so if i think that, it usually means only a point in it )

So you'll nitpick Oscar's official results at 140 and below but won't touch the Mosley bouts :patsch
