Paul Williams was one fight removed from his high action FOTY candidate match against Martinez, and at the second highest pinnacle of his career. Paul was available in the 154 division and up in the rankings.

Instead manny pacquiao targets unranked margarito who was at rock bottom for a vacant 154 belt.

Late 2010 was the time to make this fight happen

Why didn't Raheem happen? Guzman? Freitas? Diaz? Mosley in 09? Williams/Martinez?

margarito's big size advantage didn't stop manny from making their fight.

Because Williams was too busy trying to get a fight with Void... Void was ducking!

Same reason why Williams Mayweather didn't happen

One of the two was overcome by sheer terror, guess which one

But a 150lb Williams might have been just drained enough to lose to Pac

It didn't happen because Williams was a halfway decent boxer.

Boom end thread. The same reason Floyd didn't want it. Both were terrified. I bet they even consoled each other over their fear.

Bob Arum came straight and and said Paul Williams is too big.

then an interviewer asked Pac directly if he ever could see himself fighting Williams and Pac smiled and shook his head saying "No"

The size difference is ridiculous. Hands of plaster looked like Andre the Giant facing Pacquiao and Williams made hands of plaster look small, this fight isn't even fair to mention. I'm more bothered why Mayweather totally overlooked Williams.

Paul was at WW the enitre time Floyd was while Paul was at JMW most of the time Pac was at WW. Asking why Floyd never fought him is alot more valid......oh wait Floyd was retired lol then unretired...then retired..while little Pacquiao was busy fighting all the WW's that ****ing coward was too scared to.

Paul beat Margarito which was a good win, but before he even got a chance to do anything, he went on to lose to Qunitana immediately. Then he was tied up for more time to avenge his loss to him. By that time was over, Floyd was already gone
