I started to admire Peterson when he fought against Khan (who i favored to win), and he switched gears from boxer to pressure fighter all of a sudden. And that threw out Khan's gameplan out the window.... i think from that point on, Peterson discovered his new M.O. Just got done watching the Peterson/Holt fight - man, what a great fight it turned out! Thought it was gonna be a snoozefest, w/ a possible spoiler by Holt. After a couple rounds and dropping Holt's power by a bit, Peterson switched to Pressure Fighter again and just totally dominated Holt from then on. His left body hook kept Holt clammed up, and the ol' 1/2 kept scoring big, eventually leading to a stoppage against the ropes after a close-out hookfest... Peterson's cemented in A caliber status in my book....
Can you point me to the link, post, article where it or someone (with credibility) that said that Peterson is the BEST AT 140LBS? Look...I totally get that you don't like Peterson, fine. But Peterson paid his dues....worked his way up and fought some big names at 140lbs. He was only dominated by Bradley, and he is a legitimate belt holder. Is he the best in the division...Absolutely not. But he has put himself in a position to fight to step into the ring so he can EARN THAT TITLE!!!
I would say he was a pressure fighter that switched boxer against Ortiz because he had too much power for him. He counter punched the **** out of Ortiz in the late rounds.
Peterson is going nowhere Fact is everyones going to refuse to fight him because he's a proven cheat.
I'm with this. He cheated, he knows he cheated. Low testosterone my ass! Does anyone realize how easy it is to go to an anti-aging clinic and get a dianosis of "low testosterone"? **** PEDerson!
I am sorry but if you were on the bandwagon and started talking about cleaning up the sport testing etc.... you must stay consistent in that belief. Peterson will never be able to fight outside of DC, he will never be able to get away with TRT in any other state he basically has that title held hostage right now this is bad for boxing I dont care what anybody says about it.
Good fight indeed, i felt bad for holt i wanted him to win but he took a lot of punishment in that fight, his face showed a defeated man.
